“We are such stuff, As dreams are made on; and our little life, Is rounded with a sleep.”
— “The Tempest,” by William Shakespeare
(Spies, Lies and Polygraph Tape) — In the Multiverse, dreams are such stuff as we are made of — information requires physical representation — our lives are not lived once but repeated in endless physical variations of parallel universes.
Our dreams must live and breath, so long as the laws of physics remain inviolate.
There is plenty of room for dreams to play out in the infinite vastness beyond the observable universe. There is just as much room for those same dreams to play a part in the shared space of quantum worlds.
Consider this: So long as a fiction does not violate the physics that supports the imaginary world, it is as real as the images reflecting in your “I.”
And so we come to the “eleventh hour.”
While promoting her eleventh book, “a discussion of the many metaphysical issues that have long intrigued her, including her conviction that the government conceals its knowledge of aliens from the public,” actress Shirley MacLaine appeared on Larry King to discuss the UFO problem.
King asked MacLaine, “You’ve talked to a lot of people over the years, right?” to which MacLaine replied, “Oh, yes.”
And just to make certain for his audience, King asked, “Astronauts, presidents, etc.?”
“Right,” replied MacLaine, and regarding contact with something from “out there,” King asked her, “And your belief is firm, right?”
“No question,” MacLaine replied. “It’s all about feelings. It’s all about what goes on in the spirit of your head. I think — I think, really, the government in this country wants to release this information. Military intelligence does, because I’ve — I know some of them. And I think they are watching what happens in terms of the public’s reaction.”
November 11, perhaps.
Is it possible that 11-11 is a sign of the times? Are we rapidly approaching the final moment for the world to sleep quietly in the shadow of disbelief? Is this the rational shield that guards the human mind from dark terrors that visit in the middle of the night?
The human mind seeks and finds what it is looking for. Is there any mystical or political significance in store for this date?
Not very likely.
At the time of the MacLaine interview, King noted that “an historic occasion will take place in Washington … Former high level government employees, military officials and pilots from all over the world will come together. They’ll discuss their own UFO sightings and encounters — and they’ll do it at the National Press Club in the nation’s capital. Some of them will share their stories for the first time. This group has gathered together to call on the United States government to take an active role in investigating cases involving unidentified flying objects.”
Years have passed, and dreams of disclosure have diminished since MacLaine’s interview. At least that seems to be the case in our branch of the many worlds of the Multiverse.
In dreams of the Multiverse, other worlds manifest as the reality. In other worlds, some dreams, at least in part, are played out upon the stage of life.
One of the stages, lost amidst countless worlds, hosts an amazing disclosure about the true nature of visitors to our world.
But are these visitors “real?”
Recall that any information requires physical representation, including dreams and nocturnal visitations.
There is one thing that all ways of expressing information must have in common: they all use real physical things to do the job. Spoken words are conveyed by air pressure fluctuations, written ones by arrangements of ink molecules on paper, even thoughts depend on neurons. The rallying cry of the information physicist is “no information without physical representation!” … It now appears that information may have a much deeper significance.
Yes, indeed, information does have a much more significant role in the nature of reality that was previously assumed. Information is the cornerstone of our experience of who and what, exactly, we are. And unwelcome visitations to that world must have representation.
