(STARpod.us) — The British Ministry of Defence has responded to a Freedom of Information Request confirming that the MoD conducted psychic research shortly after the 9/11 terror attacks. Release of the documents confirms the relatively recent Ministry of Defence (MoD) interest in psychic spying for the war on terror.
According to the MoD, “A study was undertaken in 2001-2002 to investigate theories about capabilities to gather information remotely about what people may be seeing and to determine the potential value, if any, of such theories to Defence.”
Sensitive information has been redacted from the original documents.
The revelation appears to confirm previous rumors of renewed interest in the use of psychic spies for intelligence collection, allegedly in response to the ever-increasing dangers of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. One of the first reports telling of reactivation of the psychic spies was passed to author Jon Ronson for his book “The Men Who Stare at Goats.” Ronson interviewed Uri Geller, formerly an unwitting CIA test subject. Geller claims to have performed operational psychic spying at the request of the U.S. Government.
When questioned about the man in charge of the psychic spies, Geller identified a high-ranking Senior Intelligence Official, known to the readers of Ronson’s book as “Ron.”
In his book “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” Ronson writes:
“Uri Geller had his telephone call from Ron, but that is all I know about Uri and Ron. A number of second-generation remote viewers (psychic spies who learned the trade from members of the Fort Meade unit and subsequently set up their own training schools) were also contacted by the intelligence communities post-9/11.”

An interesting conjecture coming from the confirmation of official MoD government interest in paranormal phenomenology is the possibility that government agents have infiltrated private organizations interested in paraphysical phenomena, such as remote reviewing and UFOs. At least three different sources confirmed to STARstream Research that a “government person” identified a party close to our investigation as an agent of the British Secret Intelligence Service, also widely known as MI6. The affiliation with MI6 has been denied, but the rumor suggests an effort to protect the connection between UFO rumors, such as the so-called MAJESTIC Group, and operational psychic spying. The available evidence hints at a cooperative effort between the United States and Great Britain.
Christopher Robinson, a U.K.-based psychic known for his work as the “dream detective” and for predicting terror attacks, including 9/11, has provided STARstream Research with new information about how he was contacted by senior American intelligence services following 9/11. As a result, Robinson says he met numerous senior American intelligence officials, including several from the Office of the Secretary of Defense in the United States. Robinson has also provided emails concerning a “precognitive intelligence unit” and a message identifying Chris Mellon at the Bush-era Donald Rumsfeld Office of the Secretary of Defense. STARstream Research was also able to confirm a relationship between Robinson and former senior NSA official Tom Drake.
The British MoD remote viewing files include sections that have been redacted which appear to refer to an on-going remote viewing related effort in a nation with a relationship to the United Kingdom, which may refer to the United States. Robinson claims to have worked on paranormal projects with former NSA official Thomas A. Drake, from shortly after 9/11 to until Drake left the NSA in 2008.
Drake later confirmed his relationship with Chris Robinson and stated that Mr. Robinson had provided the U.K. and U.S. intelligence community with a warning of planes hitting the twin towers in New York City, prior to the actual events on September 11, 2001.
